"The Charles Cotton Hotel is located in the spectacular Peak District National Park. The hotel provides a base for all tastes - walking, fishing, cycling, horse riding or simply discovering the wealth of heritage that abounds in Derbyshire and the nearby Potteries.”
  Why we love it here
This picturesque village has many gift shops and the cheese factory and shop famous for its Hartington stilton. From limestone cliffs to soft green fields, from open moor-land to dense wooded valleys, the landscape of the Peak District is rich  in contrasts. Follow a nature trail or take a ride out to one of the charming villages - especially interesting during the well-dressing ceremonies.

Hartington also has easy access to the Manifold Valley, Tissington Trail  and the High Peaks cycle trails.

Click Here for a 7 mile walk right from the hotel front door.
